Not so Fabulous Update

Aloha Divas! What a few busy days it has been! And I apologize that it has taken me forever to blog again.  But I'm here now so.. you get to read my ramblings. What a treat! '

Last week was little crazy! And like I said in my last post that I had my graduation party and family staying over so chaos ensued. But it was a beautiful whirl wind of life. Crazy, unpredictable, and lovely. My life. And I love it.

My party went well. I saw friends I hadn't had the chance to really see in a while so that was great. People who I have known since I was born finally realized that yes I am indeed fabulous. There were cupcakes, beautiful presentation, and pink. Everything a party needs to be well... a party. But don't worry I didn't do any of the cooking other than dipping pretzels in melted chocolate. I know you were worried about that since I informed you of my lets just say very under par cooking abilities (very under par..very...however I guess you could say I was the inventor of the Jello brownie.. if that somehow sounds edible and enticing?? No?.. I didn't think so.)My sister and sister in law did most of the cooking. It was yummy! Stefanie, my amazing friend, came over early to help with the finishing touches. What would I do with out Stefanie? The world will never know.

Later on that week my family left, the food was gone, and no cared anymore about whether or not the frosting was coordinated (ok lets be honest here I was the only one.) But alas peace descended on my house and it was wonderful. I went to my Fondy friends last performance together at their college. That was great, however I didn't actually see them perform..I was sitting in a green room backstage..ya know just too fabulous for the crowds. Afterwards I met the cutest little puppy named Watson. He was just so stinkin lovable and soft. Ahh puppies!

This post is a little all over the place but it was just a little update. Also if there is any beauty/fashion or music related topic that you want me to blog about just leave me a comment. I am hoping to do either a shopping haul or a May favorites soon. So be on the look out for that! It may even be in video form! Ooooo look at that the Diva might know how to work a camera! Also if any of you have any tips on learning to play the guitar or posting covers it would be much appreciated, and you might be considered a little bit more fab.

My pretzels from the party.

Oooo La La!
 Romantic candle lighting.

                             Stay Hopeful,
                                    Cherry XOXO

P.S I am about to go on a mini vacation so hopefully I'll have lots of stuff to share when I get back! Yay, for spontaneity!

Say what?!

Hello Gorgeous! You look quite spiffy today. Yes, you sitting there reading this blog, looking fabulous. You probably are very put together and educated person. You understand anything anyone throws at you all the time. Well I am not. My skills are looking put together and acting fabulous. And today you are going to listen to me vent a little on some issues I don't understand. Maybe you can explain them to me? Because thats what we do here in little kingdom of fabulousness, we help each other. Well lets get on with these hard hitting topics of things I don't understand.

1.  People who wear Camo as a Fashion Statement.
We can see you. Your camouflage isn't working. Why are you intentionally wearing something that is supposed to make you invisible? Makes no sense. It doesn't look cute. Think about it have you ever heard anyone go " Man, girl, I saw you looking fine in that camo and my heart just almost fell out of my chest, can I have your number?" Nope you haven't.  If you are in the military and doing military activities than by all means wear camo. Work that camo. Embrace the flage.  But in normal life..Stop trying to make camo happen.

2. Grocery Stores.
I can navigate my way through any clothing  or department store, but the moment I step into a grocery store I start to have questions like, "Where is it?" "How do I get there?" When will I get there?" "Will I make it out alive?" It gets real in a grocery store. Just today I had to unfortunately go to a grocery store and I was so lost. I walked past the meat section twice before I found it. And why is the meat section so confusing. Like what type of chicken is the right type chicken? How can there be this many different types of chicken?! I just want the kind that I can eat. I don't care about all this extra stuff like whether or not this hen laid the egg that grew up to be in the movie  Chicken Run. I just want normal disease free chicken. Also, the peanut butter which I assumed after I couldn't find it would be in the pancake aisle because you know a lot of people like pb on their pancakes. ( I personally don't eat pancakes. I lead a pancake free life.) However there was no peanut butter. I finally found the peanut butter by chance. I just walked down very aisle till I could find it.
Tis a stressful world in a grocery store.

3. Culottes.
Are trying to be a skirt or are you trying to be shorts? Nobody knows.

4. College fees.
I understand that you need money and all to go to school. I mean you got to pay the teachers and such, but whats with  so many extra fees?! It's ridiculous. First of all you have to pay to apply. These poor students have to pay out all this money just so a bunch of strangers who have never met the student can judge them, and  on top of that most students apply to multiple colleges. Nobody has money for that. Don't you people know its a recession. And textbooks. Why are textbooks so expensive?! You only use the book for one section in that one chapter on that one page. And then you think you got it all taken care of when they roll out the bill for a placement testing because apparently your ACT score isn't good enough to judge your academic ability. What's the point of an ACT test then? You got to pay for that too... and then you have to pay for your scores to be sent. Ridiculous!! Fight the system! I don't know how because they won't let you in unless you pay the fees, but fight the system!!!

They also tell you come to our school for all these benefits that will really help you in your life. I once got a brochure for a college and it talked about how they had all these hiking trails you could use to see nature. First of all like I said in my first post I don't do nature. But second of all you want me pay 30,000 dollars just so I can experience some nature?! If I want to see nature I can just go to my backyard where its free, and I don't have to do homework.  Poor college student troubles.

Well my dear little divas I hope you can emphasize with my quandaries or at least explain them to me.
I will try and post again this week, but I am going to be really busy since I have family in town and my grad party on Saturday. I will try my best.  Don't forget to follow and subscribe so you don't miss out on more posts! Share and tell a friend if you'd like.
                               Stay Fabulous,

Relaxing Weekend

Hello Gorgeous! Happy Mother's Day to you Mother's out there! I hope you celebrated fantabulosly  your ability to birth small alien like human beings into this world. Go You! *Diva claps for all*

For me today was filled with church breakfast, celebrating, Red Lobster, and my favorite shopping! Ahh what a life.. However shopping today was so stressful. Almost every store I entered was filled with cheap teen trendish clothing. Everything was neon this or neon that, which neon can be great however when the majority of your clothing is neon its time to rethink your priorities. Also what is with stores making clothing to only fit people who wear 0's or 2's? Hello!  *Diva announcement time* Most of the world is not a size 2! Not that its bad to be a size 2. Its just that the majority of the world is not.  Have they not every heard of supply and demand?

Yesterday I attended my good friend Faith's 21st birthday party. And before you ask, no it wasn't a crazy drunken brawl. We have too much class for that..It was a fun time though. Giggles and cake were had by all. Before the party Charity and I had the bright idea of waxing my legs. Lesson learned from that just because the result is not turning out right doesn't mean the product is defective maybe you're just doing it wrong. When waxing rip up, against the hair, not down, with the hair....It won't work very well if you go the wrong direction, and then you'll have to re-wax.. ha who know? Not Charity and I.  Again Logic is not one of my strong points.

Well I apologize for the short pathetic blog post, but that is all for the day. Don't forget to subscribe, comment, or follow! Enjoy these pictures of my nephew enjoying mother's day.

                   Stay Classy,
                                Cherry XOXO

P.S Want to hear a joke? What do you call a country with all pink cars??? A pink carnation! Haha..ha.....ha.....ya....I tried...

Beautiful Face

Hello little Divas! Today is a gorgeous! A very Swazzy day if you ask me! And since it is so beautiful out I thought it would be the perfect time to introduce you to my gorgeous best friend Charity whom I've known since I was 3 years old. You might be thinking oh no not another crazy shoe obsessed over dramatic diva, but you'd be wrong (you probably weren't thinking that I just like to assume my audience is as judgy as I am.)She is fun, kind, sweet, semi patient, and quiet.. and as you can probably tell I have the gift of gab, a very generous gift of gab. She is the yin to my yang, and we fit as friends perfectly. We are actually are more like twins who were separated at birth... even though I am 4 months older than her...  so that would make our theory impossible...but who cares about logic anyway!

A few days ago Charity and I had a mini beauty day. I did her makeup and hair then afterwards we had a little spa treatment! ahh relaxation.  She is already GORGEOUS so it didn't take much work to do her makeup. We decided for Charity to go semi dramatic on the eyes with dark silver, black, and glitter charcoal colored eye shadows. We also gave her winged eye liner and mascara. For her face we used a little foundation because Charity is one of those blessed people who has almost perfect skin. We also went with a little blush and bronzer for conturing. Add a little color to her very fair complexion.

These products were used to create the eye look. The Brushes are from Eco Tool, Maybelline Mascara, elf eye shadow, and revlon eyelash curler.

As you can see Charity has very fair skin.
We added a lift color but not too much.
These products below are what I used on her face.

We went simple on the lips we used Revlon Nude and a sheer lipgloss that I received as a gift. I'm not sure on the brand.
                      Future model? I think so.
For Charity's hair we gave her a teased messy look.  We used Caviar Anti Aging Working Hairspray.
Well that is today's beauty look.  Don't forget to subscribe or follow for more!

Stay Swazzy,
                Cherry

Freedom

Hello Loves!  Are you feeling divalicous today? And if you haven't been why aren't you?! Work it. Strut what the good Lord gave you. Because girl you are fabulous! I mean not as fabulous as me, but well you know.. you're pretty fab.

Today for the first time in years I have to co-habitate with all of my siblings. I mean yes they have come back to visit my parents and I since the two oldest got married and the 3rd went away to college, but we haven't all stayed in the same house in probably close to 5 years. Am I ready for this? I am the youngest and it took me a lot of work to get rid of all of them and now they are just coming back! Don't get me wrong I love my siblings. Its just that I've grown accustomed to being able to sleep in whatever room I choose too. My choice of sleeping in 5 rooms went down to one..my own. And thats just.... so not fabulous.

Being the youngest is a great thing.. and sometimes annoying. I mean its great because sometimes you get to do stuff your older siblings didn't get to do.. but yet no one appreciates your witty remarks or fabulous behavior because most of the times people forget about the last child. "You must be so proud of Rusty, Anna, and  Josh for all they accomplished.  oh you have another child named Cherry? oh how unfortunate." Like I am standing right here people! And how can one forget about me?! I am marvelous!

One of the great things about my sister coming is that my little nephew is here too! As I am typing this I'm holding little Reno  (wren-o its my nickname for him) as we blog and watch Mulan together. I'm teaching him the ways of the Diva. It is our responsibility to train the young, and I am just doing my small part in making sure my nephew knows how to be sassy and classy. Its the simple things.

The second great thing about them being here is that it means my graduation party is almost here! I am finally graduating from this horrendous experience known as high school. People say its the easiest part of your life because you don't have responsibilities.  I mean sure.. its great not having to pay a mortgage but do you think its easy having to attend classes with a bunch of hormonal induced citizens who think the FFA is the coolest and greatest thing you could ever be a part of? I mean I just can't help myself from swooning whenever a teenage boy in cameo drives by with a lifted truck and country music blaring. (*note the sarcasm)  These people don't need a diploma. They need a fashion intervention!!! But alas my days of high school of tacky social events are over! *diva claps*  I am finally FREE!!

Well I am sorry but that is all I have for now!
Blowing kisses to our fearless little divas.

       Stay Fearless,
            Cherry & Reno

I am Fabulous

Hello dear bloggerians or whatever it is you call yourselves! This is my blog, Life of Fabulous. My life obviously.  I am royalty. A queen diva to be exact (but you can call me Cherry.)  I lead a life of grandeur, mystery, and excitement, or at least thats what I wish it to be. In reality I am just an easily distracted girl who has a major shopping problem. I talk more than I should, online shop more than I should. Lets just say I don't do things half way. Its an all or nothing kind of deal. As in the wise words of somebody I can't remember who "if you're going to hit somebody, you might as well hit them hard." People tell me I'm witty, however I'm not really aware of my wit till after the fact. Its awkward. I don't do nature or camouflage of any kind...ever.  Oh and yes Cherry is my real name. Its not a nickname. Its not fake name. Its my REAL name. And yes I am fully aware I am named after a fruit. You don't have to point it out.

You may be thinking "where did such an unfortunate human crawl from her hole?." And the answer to that question is Wisconsin, my glorious homeland. We got cheese. We got Beer. We got the packers, and the FFA (Future farmers of America... sounds like a party right?)
ya no.. not unless that party includes trucks and cows.. I have lived here my whole life and I love my state of green and gold, but lets just says its not the most musical or fashion forward state.

I try to bring color into my friends and family's life however my sass and humor goes unappreciated most of the time. I have one legitimate talent and that is singing..at least attempting to. I lead a talentless life.. I'm ok with it though. No need to pity me and my unfortunate skills. I survive. Besides I'm fabulous. Who needs to be able to cook, clean, or draw when you can shop instead!

Well see you soon my loves!
Stay classy, sassy, but never trashy!
                          Cherry

P.S!!! One thing you must never forget! My eye's are HAZEL! Hazel People! Not brown. Not green. I mean is it so hard to grasp the concept of an eye color? Anyways carry on with your wonderful day. XOXO
