Its Over... Well at Least Halfway...

Hello Gorgeous!  This semester has flown by in one big financial crushing blur. It was such a blur that it almost feels like I didn't accomplish much other than spend a lot of money..which I did...on fun things like textbooks..and binders..and highlighters I never used. But I'm prepared if you guys need some text highlighted or post it notes written because I have plenty of both. I don't know if thats a sign of my shopaholic tendencies or I'm just a really bad college student. Its probably both...
But now I am finally on Christmas break! And for one glorious month I will not have to do homework, sit through a lecture, or study for quizzes.. Ahh bliss. Now on to celebrating Christmas which for my family won't be until January, but better late than never. However it won't be a complete vacation, in fact most of it will be spent at work.. got to get a Holla for a Dolla. (I don't really know what thats supposed to mean... its just sounded right.)

So since the semester is over I will share with you the things I  learned so far.... Ba dum da dum!!!!

1. Sleep is no longer a thing you do, nor do you need it to function.. at least at a college student level of functioning..

2. Normal food and eating habitats do not exist. Now I'm not saying that you'll gain the freshman fifteen or anything. I didn't. All I am saying is that nothing says struggling adulthood like eating off brand pop tarts and goldfish everyday because you can't afford real food.

3. Know a guy. Now you might be like me (probably not) and not be very skilled in many areas. But as long as you know someone who can do what you can not.. you'll be fine.  College is like a gigantic bartering system. No one has money instead everyone just trades skills in hope that this will look "good" on their college resume.

4. Always bring your own water bottle to class! You don't want to be stuck drinking that nasty campus bubbler water. (Yes. This is Wisconsin its called a bubbler.) Trust me that stuff is horrible. And having something to drink will also help you stay awake during class. Besides its good to stay hydrated.

5. Mathway.com is your best friend. If this site already isn't a normal virtual destination for you.. it will be.

6. Buy a Sherpa blanket. Now this seems frivolous and strange. But do it! These blankets are life changing. They are softer than your padded grades of extra credit. They are the warmer than your tears of a failed test. They are curvier than the curves on your test. They are the blankets of all blankets. They feel like the moment when you find out you get to sleep in an extra hour because you first class was cancelled.  So buy a sherpa, because when you are having your 12th nervous breakdown from questioning your life decision to attend this torture known as college, you can wrap yourself in the warmth of Sherpa and everything will be alright.

As you can see I've clearly learned a lot. I don't know why they don't just give me my diploma now.
I've learned it all.

My dear Divas I hope you have a very Merry and Fabulous Christmas! Queen Diva out.

                                            Stay Fabulous,
                                                     Cherry XOXO

P.S. I finally got my christmas lights hung up around my room so now it looks all cozy and warm.
